PROCEDURE FOR TRANSMISSION OF SHARES

Legal Heir/Claimant/Nominee to submit transmission request form in ISR – 5 formats along with the following documents as applicable.

• Original death certificate
  • Or
• Copy of death certificate attested by a notary public/gazette officer or by the nominee(s)/claimant(s)/legal heir(s), subject to verification with original by the RTA/Listed Issuer
• Self-attested copy of Permanent Account Number (PAN) of the nominee(s)/claimant(s)/legal heir(s)
• Copy of Birth Certificate (in case the nominee/claimant/legal heir is a minor)
• KYC of the claimant Guardian (in case of nominee/claimant being a minor/of unsound mind)
• Original security certificate(s)

Note: The Claimant/legal heir(s) shall submit all the KYC documents in the prescribed investors service request forms.

  Notarised affidavit from such legal heir(s)/claimant(s) duly executed on stamp paper of Rs. 100/- who are named in the succession certificate or Probate of Will or Will or Letter of Administration or Legal Heirship Certificate (or its equivalent certificate), along with any one supporting document mentioned in point (7)
• Supporting documents
  • Succession certificate along with a notarised indemnity bond duly executed on stamp paper of Rs. 500/- from the legal heir(s)/claimant(s) to whom the securities are transmitted; or
  • Probate of Will along with a notarised indemnity bond duly executed on stamp paper of Rs. 500/- from the legal heir(s)/claimant(s) to whom the securities are transmitted; or
  • Will along with a notarised indemnity bond duly executed on stamp paper of Rs. 500/- from the legal heir(s)/claimant(s) to whom the securities are transmitted
  • Letter of Administration; or
  • Court Decree; or
  • Legal Heirship Certificate or its equivalent, along with:
    • a notarised indemnity bond from the legal heir (s)/claimant(s) on duly executed stamp paper of Rs. 500/- and
    • No Objection from all the non-claimants made on stamp paper of Rs. 100/-, duly attested by a notary public or by a gazetted officer.
    The document should be attested by the legal heir(s)/claimant(s) subject to verification with the original or duly attested by a notary public or by a Gazetted officer.
• Notarised affidavit duly executed on stamp paper of Rs. 100/- from all legal heirs confirming last will

Note: The Claimant/legal heir(s) shall submit all the KYC documents in the prescribed investors service request forms.

  • Probate of Will along with a notarised indemnity bond duly executed on stamp paper of Rs. 500/- from the legal heir(s)/claimant(s) to whom the securities are transmitted; or
  • Will along with a notarised indemnity bond duly executed on stamp paper of Rs. 500/- from the legal heir(s)/claimant(s) to whom the securities are transmitted
  • Letter of Administration; or
  • Court Decree; or
  • Legal Heirship Certificate or its equivalent, along with:
    • iii. a notarised indemnity bond from the legal heir (s)/claimant(s) on duly executed stamp paper of Rs. 500/- and
    • iv. No Objection from all the non-claimants made on stamp paper of Rs. 100/-, duly attested by a notary public or by a gazetted officer.
  The document should be attested by the legal heir(s)/claimant(s) subject to verification with the original or duly attested by a notary public or by a Gazetted officer.
• Notarised affidavit duly executed on stamp paper of Rs. 100/- from all legal heirs confirming last will
• If none of the documents mentioned under point (7) is available, the followings may be submitted
  • No objection certificate from all legal heirs(s) on duly executed stamp paper of Rs. 100/-
    • or
    Copy of family settlement deed executed by all the legal heirs, duly attested by a notary public or by a gazetted officer;
    • and
  • Notarised indemnity bond duly executed on stamp paper of Rs. 500/- indemnifying the RTA/Company.

Note: The Claimant/legal heir(s) shall submit all the KYC documents in the prescribed investors service request forms.
